Where can I get a Pin?

Our Typical Locations are as follows: (locations vary, call location to confirm)

Chatham - Village Pub /  Eben - New Moon Bar  /  Gladstone - Swallow Inn

Munising - Buckhorn, Barge Inn, & Foggys

Trenary - Silver Dollar, Trenary Mini Mart, & Trenary Tavern


What time do the Races start?


Races begin at 2 pm starting with the children's category Da Squirts!


What time does Registration end?


Registration closes at 1 pm Race Day. You can register any time leading up to our event. You can print a registration form HERE, fill it out and mail it in or click HERE to download our digital brochure!


Can I Register the Day of the Event?


Absolutely! Come and see us in the Official Trenary Outhouse Classic Headquarters (the little white building on the corner of M67 and Main Street) on Race Day to register.

What are the Rules?



General Build & Design

  • Build an outhouse using wood, cardboard, etc.

  • Install a toilet seat and a roll of toilet paper.

  • Mount it on skis.

  • Push it to win it.


Kids Racers (12 & Under):

  • SIZE: 18” x 24” x 40” tall.

  • Attach 12” PUSH BARS on each side.

  • Skis or Toboggan allowed for the runners!


Adult Racers (13 and Up):

  • SIZE: 3’ x 4’ x 6’ tall

  • Push Bars NOT TO EXCEED 16” on each side.

  • Mounted on SKIS ONLY for runners.  (NO METAL/ALUMINUM –Metal will be disqualified)


Is METAL allowed on the Skis?


No! Fiberglass or wooden skis are the preferred type of structural apparatus for your mobile (albeit nonfunctional) fecal waste receptacle!


Is there lodging in the area?


There is no lodging in Trenary; however click HERE for a list of lodging in the surrounding areas.


Where is apparel and merchandise available?


At all the local businesses in Trenary AND at our Official Trenary Outhouse Classic Headquarters!
